MK-WS2-HT is a high temperature bearing grease for industrial bearings and lubrication points exposed to elevated temperature, high load, impact load, moisture or high shear. It is made with high-viscosity synthetic base oil, tungsten disulfide (WS2) particles and special additives.
Lowerfriction supplies MK-WS2-HT high temp grease in NLGI grades 0, 1 and 2 and in cartridge, jar, pail and drum packaging. The product brochure reports a dropping point above 320 °C, low oil separation, low evaporation loss and resistance to water, rust and humid environments.

Performance note: The brochure lists a temperature range of -20 °C (-4 °F) to 800 °C (1472 °F). Confirm suitability for continuous or intermittent service in the actual equipment. The 300,000 psi figure applies to WS2 as a material and is not a certified load rating for the finished grease.

Choosing an NLGI grade
The brochure gives NLGI 0 at 310–340, NLGI 1 at 259–265 and NLGI 2 at 220–250 penetration (0.1 mm). Select the grade based on the equipment specification, lubrication system and application technique, not on the temperature claim alone.
