    Safety, Handling and Storage

    Keep powder in a tightly closed container in a dry, well-ventilated area away from moisture. Avoid creating or inhaling dust. Use appropriate local ventilation, gloves and eye protection when handling.

    The common MK-hBN-xxx SDS will state that the product is not WHMIS controlled and not classified under GHS, however dust could cause irritation to the respiratory tract, skin or eyes. Please consult the SDS prior to use.

    Frequently Asked Questions

    What does 1.5 micron APS mean?

    APS is by definition the average particle size. Granulation size (average 1.5 micron) is reported here, but does not represent complete particle-size distribution.

    What applications can MK-hBN-150 be evaluated for?

    It can be tested for lubricating compounds, dry-film compounds, thermal-management compounds, electrical-insulating materials, polymer or ceramic filling, and some mold-release applications.

    How should the powder be stored and handled?

    Store in a dry, well-ventilated area, tightly closed. Do not expose the product to moisture, do not inhale dust and follow product handling directions outlined in the SDS.
