    Safety, Handling and Storage

    Keep the powder in a tightly closed container in a dry, well-ventilated area and keep it away from moisture. Try to prevent the generation or breathing in of dust. Use appropriate local ventilation, gloves and eye protection when handling.

    The common MK-hBN-xxx SDS states that it is not WHMIS controlled and not classified as dangerous as per GHS, however, dust can irritate the respiratory tract, skin or eyes. Check SDS before using.

    Frequently Asked Questions

    What does 30 micron APS mean?

    APS is the term used for the average particle diameter. This is found to be the average particle size for the product and does not reflect a complete particle-size distribution.

    What applications can MK-hBN-3000 be evaluated for?

    It can be tested for lubricants, dry film lubrication, thermal-management, electrical insulators, polymer fillers, selected mold release applications and ceramic fillers.

    How should the powder be stored and handled?

    Store in a cool, dry, ventilated area, tightly closed. Keep away from moisture and airborne dust and use as outlined in the SDS.
