    MK-WS2-06 is a tungsten disulfide (WS2) powder with an average particle size of 0.6 micron and a purity of 99.9%.     Safety, Handling and Storage

    Store WS2 powder in a firmly closed container in a dry, well-ventilated area. Avoid contact with skin and eyes, and avoid generating dust or aerosols. Provide sufficient exhaust ventilation at the source of dust and wear suitable gloves and eye protection.

    In the common MK-WS2-xxx / MKN-WS2-xxx SDS, tungsten disulfide is classified as a skin irritant (Category 2), a serious eye irritant (Category 2A) and a specific target organ toxicant – single exposure (Category 3) for the respiratory system. DOT, IMDG and IATA transport status is listed as not dangerous goods. Review the SDS before use.

      I used this 0.6 micron WS2 in my perkins 6.354.4 marine diesel engine at a rate of 8oz WS2 per oil change (10qts). The oil consumption dropped by 90% from a gallon every 100hours to a couple of cups. Been using this for years now and engine has 18k hours on it now. Wear on the cam has stopped, valves are still at the specified clearance after 8k hours of using this with every oil change. Be aware this settles out slowly in the pan, so start the engine at least every 3 weeks, which is good for the engine anyway.
