    MK-MoS2-125 is a technical grade molybdenum disulfide (MoS2) powder, 98.5%+ pure, with an average particle size of about 12.5 micron. It is offered for industrial and laboratory evaluation as a dry/solid lubricant and lubricant additive – for greases, oils, polymers, paints and coatings, along with high-load applications and vacuum-related lubrication.

    Safety, Handling and Storage

    Store MoS2 powder in a tightly closed container in a dry, well-ventilated area. Avoid contact with skin and eyes, and avoid generating dust or aerosols. Where dust is generated, provide sufficient exhaust ventilation, and use suitable gloves and eye protection when handling.

    Molybdenum disulfide is listed in the common MK-MoS2-xxx / MKN-MoS2-xxx SDS as Acute Toxicity (Inhalation), Category 4, with hazard statement H332: Harmful if inhaled. Possible irritation of the respiratory tract, skin and eyes is also included. DOT, IMDG and IATA transport status is listed as not dangerous goods. Read the SDS before use.
